<P>Compendium of Theoretical Physics contains the 'canonical curriculum' of theoretical physics – Mechanics; Electrodynamics; Quantum Mechanics; and Statistical Mechanics and Thermodynamics - taught at the undergraduate level of most universities. The authors, two young theoretical physicists, provide the subject matter of examinations for pre-degree and degree in a concise and stringent fashion. All topics are treated axiomatic-deductively: that is, from the discussion of each theory with its fundamental equations through derivation of the various physical relationships and laws in logical (rather than chronological) order.
