Mosby’s Canadian Comprehensive Review of Nursing, Second Edition is designed to prepare nursing students for the Canadian Registered Nursing Examination (CRNE). The format of the exam has been revised for the June 2005 sitting, with the addition of short answer questions. The exam now consists of 240-260 questions (a mixture of MCQ and short answer questions), each of which is designed to measure a specific competency required for nurses’ entry to practice. According to the latest CNA information, the June 2005 exam consists of 15-25% short answer and 75-85% multiple choice questions. The review content covers each major clinical area, with separate chapters to address Canadian components of practice and legal issues. The book includes an introduction for students preparing for the exam. A CD-ROM also features additional self-assessment questions (about 1,000 in MCQ format).
